Room Block
We have created a room block at The Thompson San Antonio, where the Reception will be held. It is in walking distance to the ceremony on the River Walk!
Lodging Recommendations
To Those Flying In
The San Antonio International Airport is a 15-minute drive to The Thompson Hotel, where the Reception will be held. The Thompson Hotel is a short 5-10 minute walk to Club Giraud, where the Ceremony will be held.
In addition, The Thompson and Club Giraud are both on the San Antonio River Walk. It is a 15-20 minute walk on the River to the hustle and bustle of Downtown San Antonio. There, you can find restaurants, bars, museums and, of course, the Alamo (it is never forgotten).
For the wedding events, we do not recommend renting a car as everything will be within walking distance, and parking may add up.
Transportation to Wedding Events
If you decide to rent a car or if you are driving in from out-of-town, we recommend parking at your hotel and taking an Uber or Lyft to Club Giraud (where the Ceremony will be held).
As a group, we will walk on the River to the Reception at the Thompson.
We will arrange transportation for our guests who are unable to join us on the walk to the Reception.
Parking
There will be parking on-site for both Club Giraud and the Thompson.
The Thompson Hotel offers valet parking for $59.00 a night.
